Finally I received Nika's package after so many months. My package to her has yet to arrive!! What's wrong with the postal to Slovenia? Will wait until end of this month before I redo another package for her.
Nika is such a generous swapper. She sent me so so many stuff!! Amongst the stuff I received are a cute pig plushie, purple hair accessories (band and clips), stabilo pens, lovely handmade bookmarks (tweety and my favourite smurf), handmade booklets (lovely craftsmanship), assorted writing stationeries that comes with matching envelopes!
That's not all, digging further into the package, Nika also sent me a bar of her favourite soap, face mask, perfume sachets and 2 lip gloss (one of it is strawberry flavour!), 2 bars of her favourite snack ~ frutabela, some candies, sachets of cappucino and teas. She also included a handmade Slovenia receipe book and really cute stickers. There's also a small pink pouch which contains a beaded flower necklace, turtle bangle and 2 fridge magnets ~ one is made from wood which has the scenery of Bled and the other a plastic with the saying "Best friends are better than boys".

My friend and I were recently discussing about technology, and how integrated it has become to our daily lives. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets cheaper, the possibility of downloading our memories onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about every once in a while.
